Have you had difficulty finding an estimator? Do your estimates not match your actual costs? Well, we are now offering estimating as a service to architects, engineers, contractors, sub-contractors and owners that want a preliminary, detailed or complete estimate. Each estimate will include a memory sheet.
When you are ready to request an estimate, select one of the following:
1. A detail quantity materials takeoff.
2. A detail quantity materials, labor and equipment takeoff.
3. A unit price takeoff or approximate estimate for preliminary purposes.
To help you with your decision, we have provided some definitions below.
| Preliminary Estimate |
These feasibility estimates are typically used for various purposes by owners, architects, engineers and contractors. This method is used in the first approach to probable cost of a project. |
| Detailed Estimate |
Sometimes called an order estimate; this type of estimate includes the materials needed by the subcontractor/crew to complete the project. It is usually divided up by trade (concrete, masonry, lumber, drywall, etc.). |
| Complete Detail Estimate |
An order estimate with labor and equipment included. |
| Memory Sheet |
The information we record here is commonly used measurements from the drawings, expressed in terms of LF, SF, SY, CY, etc. This sheet allows us to quickly check information. |
* Prices will vary by estimate and plans, specifications & information given. Call for more information.
* The output format is typically done in MS Excel. If a different format is required, please let us know when you call.
